Deviation Actions
** Edited [12.31.15]
We HIGHLY encourage you to submit to the Critique folder! This not only encourages a healthy relationship amongst writers on deviantART, but it will push things along and make this a more active folder!
We would LOVE to see more people get involved! What's stopping 'ya?
Refrain from comments that insinuate an opinion: "I like this," "This sucks" or "Not bad".
** Comments like this will not be counted towards your two critiques.
Please be patient. We only just now got things rolling on this, so it's going to take some time.
- YOU MUST LINK TO THE PIECES YOU COMMENTED ON IN YOUR DESCRIPTION! We will NOT be searching through every single deviation to find your comments. We will wind up declining your piece if you don't do this.
Please place critique suggestions in the description. It's helpful for the critiquer to know if you're just looking for grammar help or if you want to know if the characters sound real enough.
What did you like?
What was your response/feeling towards the piece?
Grammar Mistakes?
Any awkward wording that could be written better?
These are just a few things to respond to if you're completely stuck on how to give feedback. You can write whatever you'd like, just please, don't just give feedback that only says you like it. Expand on that. A few words as feedback will not be counted.
Please also remember to be polite and constructive. This is to help others improve, not to put them down.
You must give two feedbacks to the two pieces before your own. (Should be the first two when you click on the critiques folder. This isn't a pick and choose just for the sake of keeping the process easier.)
Afterwards, simply link them in the description box of the piece you want feedback on.
Submit your piece into the critique folder. We'll then check to make sure you gave feedback and to make sure your feedback counts.
You may only submit once per week into the critique folder.
fanficion writers, others may not know about the subject you're writing so please realize that you may not receive the feedback you would like.
If there is a genre you do not like or are not comfortable giving feedback to, please be patient and wait for one to be submitted that you do like.
You do not need to participate in this. If you're simply not comfortable giving feedback, check out some of our affiliates who do critiques without you having to give anything in return.
You're also more than welcome to give more than two feedbacks.

This is how it works - easy peasy...

Roll Call: How Is Everyone Doing?
Wow, it really has been a while: one year, 10 months, and eight days to be exact.
While my duties outside from deviantART have consumed me, amour-raven (https://www.deviantart.com/amour-raven), entirely, it hasn't lessened my love for this website and its literature community. I hope that the solid foundation we have formed here has stood the test of one year, 10 months, and eight days. And, with everything going on in the world, I hope you all are doing well.
So much time has passed since we have all talked. We have so much to catch up on! This journal's intent is roll call—

How do I link to a piece/group in my comments properly? Copying the HTML puts the link in but looks horrible . . .
