Authors-Club Submission Rules & Regulations

Let us clarify a few things:
Poetry goes into ONLY the poetry folder
Poetry of any kind does NOT go into the science-fiction folder, horror, fantasy, romance, etc.
If it is a poem it goes into the ONLY Poetry folders.
The Fan Fiction folder is for ALL kinds of fan-fic, even chaptered works.
Books and Long Prose, Romance, Fantasy, etc. are for original literature.
The Basics:
1. There is a limit of three submissions per week.
2.
3. Mature Content is accepted; however, if an expletive is stated more than once, a filter is needed.
4. There is no word limit unless a contest states otherwise.
5. Make your submissions into the correct folder. We currently have 20 folders:
- Featured
ONLY Poetry—FULL- ONLY Poetry II
- Non-English Literature
- Fan Fiction
- Critiques (PLEASE READ THIS UPDATE REGARDING THE CRITIQUE FOLDER)
- Six Word Stories
- Books and Long Prose - Chapters or Parts
- General Prose
- Non-fiction
- Horror-Suspense
- Fantasy
- Romance
- Science-Fiction
- Mystery
- Children-Teen
- Journal Avenue (**we are no longer accepting submissions into this folder.)
- Pending Contest
- For the Playwright
- Singer, Songwriter
6. We do not accept images. We do not accept images with accompanying poetry/prose in the Author's Comments. If literature is submitted via StashWriter, uploaded as a PDF or selected using the "Enter Text," we accept that as a literature deviation. Any other format is not permitted.
7. We do not accept literature through the journal portal.
8. We do not accept synopsis pieces, character sheets, or plot webs. Please only submit your completed works.
9. We no longer will be accepting jokes to the group. We still accept humorous or comedic literature.
10. We are no longer accepting character profiles, plots or outlines. We only accept full/completed works of literature.

Wow, it really has been a while: one year, 10 months, and eight days to be exact.
While my duties outside from deviantART have consumed me, amour-raven (https://www.deviantart.com/amour-raven), entirely, it hasn't lessened my love for this website and its literature community. I hope that the solid foundation we have formed here has stood the test of one year, 10 months, and eight days. And, with everything going on in the world, I hope you all are doing well.
